Roberto Gagliano

These courses are open to anyone, from complete beginners to those who have some experience with clay. We will be learning how to prepare and wedge clay and will explore many constructional techniques such as: throwing on the wheel, pinching, coiling, slabbing, pressmoulding, and handbuilding sculptural methods.

Roberto comes from Italy where he has a Diploma in Ceramics, Technology and Design. He came to England in 2001. He has worked as a potter for 15 years, and has set up his own ceramic and teaching studio in Kemptown.

Cost: £100 (£80 concessions) per course includes basic materials and firing costs
