Meditation for Depression, Anxiety and Stress

with Taravajra

A ten-week course designed for people who experience recurrent depression, anxiety or stress. Recent studies have shown that mindfulness meditation used with elements from cognitive therapy (MBCT) is helpful in preventing relapse into depression and reducing stress and anxiety. Taravajra has been teaching meditation since 1994. He is an experienced teacher of MBCT courses at Evolution and elsewhere in Sussex. He has a post graduate diploma in the clincal applications of mindfulness from Bangor University. For more information visit his website: www.mindfulyoga.co.uk.

Ten Mondays starting 20th April 2009 at Evolution
Includes orientation session (20th April) and Follow-Up Session (tba)
7.30 – 9.00 pm
All other sessions 7.30 – 9.30 pm

Ten Tuesdays starting 21st April 2009 at Evolution
Includes orientation session (21st April) and Follow-Up Session (tba)
2.30 – 4.00 pm
All other sessions 2.30 – 4.30 pm

nb: there will be no summer course

Cost: £150 (no concessions) per Monday course (includes handbook and CDs)
Cost: £130 (£85 concessions and busy bee) per Tuesday course (includes handbook and CDs)
