Any system, when it is overwhelmed with distress, learns how to limit its input. But what the body has learnt,it can unlearn.

Liesl began her studies in 1999 in London. She qualified as a Myofascial Bodyworker in Boulder,Colorado,in 2001 and went on to complete her training at the Rolf Institutes of both Brazil and Munich.Prior to this she worked as a massage therapist in South Africa.

Central to Liesl's fascination with the work of Rolfing is the territory of re-education and how this denotes the first whispers of change for the body. The way we live in and relate to our bodies determines their capacity for change.Through change we
grow.Through Rolfing we nurture this unique relationship and put people back in touch with their lives. Liesl is committed to Continued Education at The Rolf Institute and is dedicated to a 5 year Advanced Rolfing Programme.She has begun this with introductory workshops in "Rolfing and Children " and "Rolfing the Visceral Space "
Liesl is one of 18 Rolfers in the UK having recently expanded her practice to Harley Street. Rolfing practitioners are trained and certified only by the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration.
