Integrative Psychosynthesis, Therapeutic Counselling In times of crisis, the Soul cries out from the darkness. It is at these times of journeying into the unknown that the holding presence of a fellow traveller can help the journey to feel more manageable. To be witnessed and held in times of uncertainty and fear, in the face of overwhelming emotions, can enable us to find the strength to journey on. The Soul speaks to us through imagery. The use of creative visualisation, myth and dreamwork, alongside body awareness and gentle play, may gradually open our awareness to deeper meaning, and in the acceptance of our wounds, we may move towards healing. Su Dunn Su has a diploma in Integrative Psychosynthesis Counselling
and is currently undertaking Psychotherapy training. She is a member of
the BACP, abiding by Integrative Psychosynthesis offers a framework for growth, recognising both our potential and that which limits us. Acknowledging that the personal is collective and the collective, personal, an Integrative Psychosynthesis approach reflects on how our outer world mirrors our inner world, helping us to understand our internal and external relationships. Integrating Jungian, Developmental, Gestalt and Existential approaches with Psychosynthesis, this approach addresses our search for meaning, our wounding, living with uncertainty and loss, values purpose and calling and recognises our presenting symptoms as a cry from the Soul.
