The captivating sound of the Flamenco guitar is unmistakeable! Rhythmic, percussive, melodic, haunting and intensely passionate, it is a pivotal element of an art form renowned for it’s fire, mystery, spirit and drama.

José studied with his uncle in Spain and performs professionally with his sister Anna (dancer) in their co-founded Flamenco group. He teaches in the UK and Spain and gives an authentic insight into the rhythms, accompaniment, techniques, forms and their origins. Enhanced by his ability to sing, his guidance is patient, encouraging and enjoyable.

No formal musical training is needed for this course, but it is not for absolute beginners to the guitar. Please bring nylon-stringed guitar.
