Creative Digital Photography

This intensive weekend course is designed to provide you with a working knowledge of digital photography, and how to use your camera and its controls and very basic photo-editing software. Creative and technical possibilities of photography are explored within a supportive and friendly environment, enabling students to acquire the necessary skills to be confident photographers. The course involves technical input, and in-class practical assignments. Students need a digital camera preferably with a manual setting. The course comes with a range of hand-outs which act as notes for the sessions, and is suitable for absolute beginners or those who are more familiar with their cameras but want some creative input.

Denise is a freelance creative photo artist and has been involved in many projects in and around Brighton, and at many festivals, including Brighton Photo Fringe Festival, Glastonbury Festival and The Rocket Festival. She specializes in fine art; festival and events; travel and commercial photography. She has been teaching in Brighton for over ten years.
